Bank account for paying in the Netherlands
What You Need to Know
If you have a Dutch VAT registration, it's important to send your VAT payments to the correct bank account.
The Dutch Tax Administration (Belastingdienst) uses different bank accounts for:
- Regular Dutch VAT payments
- One-Stop Shop (OSS) VAT payments
Using the correct bank account and payment reference helps ensure your payment is allocated correctly and avoids unnecessary delays.
1️⃣ Regular Dutch VAT Payments
Use the following bank account for payments relating to your Dutch VAT returns.

📌 Always use the payment reference provided by the Dutch Tax Administration when making your payment.
2️⃣ One-Stop Shop (OSS) VAT Payments
If you are registered for the OSS scheme in the Netherlands, use the following bank account for your OSS VAT payments.

📌 Only use this account for OSS payments. It should not be used for regular Dutch VAT payments.

- Regular Dutch VAT and OSS VAT payments are made to different bank accounts.
- Always use the correct payment reference provided by the Dutch Tax Administration.
- International bank transfers may take several business days, so allow enough time for your payment to arrive before the due date.
- An incorrect payment reference or payment to the wrong bank account may delay the allocation of your payment and could result in late payment interest or penalties.
