Registration process overview

After the purchase of your subscription, the process of your VAT registration can begin. Here you will find an overview of the registration process at hellotax:

Firstly, you will be invited to a Welcome call with your personal Account Manager and your Registration Assistant. In this call important information as well as the online registration process will be presented to you.

You will receive an email with the documents needed for your VAT registration with the Tax authorities.

If you need time to collect the necessary documents, your Registration Assistant will send you scheduled reminders and will be supporting you throughout the whole process.

When you have all the necessary documents for the registration, you can provide those directly to your Registration Assistant or you can upload them into your online registration portal. *Your Registration Assistant can advise you how to use your portal if you have any issues.

After all documents are provided, our tax accountants will check the information. If everything is present and correct your registration application and Letters of Authority ( LOA’s) will be prepared.

The Registration Assistant will forward you the registration application and LOA’s for your signature. Please send us a scan of the signed documents.

Depending on the country, either hellotax or yourself, will send the documents to the Tax Authorities. Your registration assistant will advise you at that time.

There are differing process times for the VAT registration depending on the country. It can differ between 4-6 weeks until up to 3-4 months. The registration assistant will keep you up to date with your registration progress. For more specific information please check our country related articles.

When the registration has been completed, you will receive a confirmation email from your Registration Assistant.
