Uploading your Sales & Refunds
Each month, you must upload any sales or refunds conducted outside of your Amazon integration to your hellotax software account.
📅 Deadline: This upload must be completed by the 4th of the following month after the period ends.
🔹 Important:
- Any sales or refund transactions outside of Amazon must be manually entered into the appropriate CSV file and uploaded.
- This ensures accurate reporting to the relevant tax authorities.
How to Populate and Upload Your Sales & Refunds CSV File
1️⃣ Download the hellotax CSV Template
- Get the file here or from the software under Settings → Integrations → Manual Upload.
2️⃣ Enter Your Sales & Refund Data
- Manually enter transactions one by one or import data from your sales channel.
- Overwrite the first example line with your own data to maintain correct formatting.
- Ensure your data format EXACTLY follows the example format.
3️⃣ Log Into Your hellotax Software Account
4️⃣ Navigate to Manual Upload
- Go to Settings → Integrations → Manual Upload.
5️⃣ Upload Your File
- Click "Upload my File" and select your completed CSV file.
6️⃣ Check for Confirmation
- A green message confirms a successful upload.
- A red error message means corrections are needed—scroll down to see the errors before retrying.
