Once you’ve subscribed, our onboarding team will contact you to request the required company documents and information.

Providing documents promptly and completely is the best way to keep your registration progressing efficiently. The sooner we receive everything, the sooner we can prepare and submit your application to the Slovak tax authorities.

⏳ Current Processing Times

After your application has been submitted, typical processing times in Slovakia are currently:

• 🇸🇰 Slovak VAT registration: approximately 2-5 weeks
• 🌍 OSS registration: approximately 2-5 weeks

Please note:

• processing times are controlled entirely by the Slovak tax authority
• timings may vary depending on workload
• and additional verification checks may increase processing times.

Applications cannot be fast-tracked, however responding quickly to information requests can help avoid unnecessary delays.

📩 Requests for Additional Information

The Slovak tax authority may sometimes request:

• additional company documents
• operational clarifications
• ecommerce information
• or supporting evidence relating to taxable activities.

If this happens, we will notify you immediately.

Providing responses quickly helps minimise delays and supports a smoother registration process.

⚠️ A Few Important Notes

• hellotax cannot influence the processing time or final decision of the Slovak tax authority
• We are not responsible for applications declined by the tax office
• No refunds are available for unsuccessful applications
• If you wish to reapply after a rejection, an administrative fee of €150 will apply
